The albums you NEED to get are these essentials:
1.Rumours
2.Fleetwood Mac
3.Tusk
they really started out as more of a blues-rock outfit, so a lot of their earlier catalog doesn't have their typical sound. do yourself a favor and give these a listen though.

My favourites are :Kiln House, which is a kind of Buddy Holly rock'n'roll
album, Bare Trees with lots of Christine McVie vocals.....so cool, and
Mystery to Me, which made me fall in love with my husband.
