Legally, yes, but you may not be able to do it during school hours or on school equipment. My kids' hs banned it in school, but they have limited access to it at home. FYI, if you are caught at school it is usually an automatic revocation of computer lab privileges. Our district requires both parent and child to sign contracts that specifically spell out limitations and consequences for ignoring them.

Legally anyone can be on MySpace, though it's not necessarily the wisest thing for a high school student to do. Your school can forbid you from accessing the site at school, and they could certainly check things you post. You can't be expelled for just having a MySpace page, though.
