We work just as hard if not harder than men. We just handle the stress better.
Stress is what breaks the body down and makes it supceptable to illnesses and ages us. If you don't deal with stress you become ill or die.

Nope, I think women work just as hard, they just do things smarter. For example, if they need to move a big box, they don't show off their strength at the risk of hurting their back, but they wait for someone to help, or they empty the box first so that it the weight is distributed.
They are also more willing to go to a doctor and take care of what is wrong with their health early on. They also have more mental fortitude, and they are better at fostering relationships, which give them the will to continue living longer.

Women work just as hard as men do. While bearing children along the way. My Mom was a Medical Doctor and she worked 2 Jobs. She worked in her chosen field and she also worked at raising 10 children 5 boys and 5 girls., While making sure that all ten of her children Graduated from many of the major Universities in their chosen field...... By the way my Dad was an Attorney, but I never saw him cook a meal and the only one of his children I ever saw him buy clothes for was me. The work my mom still does is un-believable. And yes I am a guy saying this.

No, we live longer because we are more active and lead healthier lives. Women work just as hard or harder than men. We still have the majority of the responsibilities of the home and kids. Men do help more than ever, but women still have most of the responsibilities. I realize this is not true for all women or men of course, there are no absolutes.

I can't believe a woman just asked a question like that or made a statement like that.
I have 3 children, worked in a plant usually 55 to 60 hours a week. Kept the house clean, made a meal every night, mowed 3 acres of lawn, washed clothes and on and on and on. If I sat down for more then 5 minutes at the dinner table I fell asleep from exhaustion. After a few years of this and watching my husband come home, turn on TV and wait for supper to be served then back to the TV. I thought, "oh, my god, I could work at this hard job (I might mention on my job you stood on cement floors all 55 to 60 hours you worked) forever if at the end of the day you could walk through the door to your home and wait for someone to serve you supper and watch TV till you went to bed."
No one need ever tell me men work harder then women, I know better.

Say what? Don't work as hard as men do? I'd like to see a MAN that served in the Military long enough to retire, be a Single Parent while doing that service, take care of their own residence (and do ALL the maintenance/repairs themselves), maintain a yard where you originally purchased by the acre (and I do this myself -- INCLUDING chain-sawing down and apart the trees that are weakened or die over time), fixing their own auto ... then coming inside and having to do all the OTHER chores too -- washing, cooking, cleaning, making sure the kids do their homework, etc etc etc.
Just became Empty Nester -- and even my brother remarked when he came home from work and found ALL the farmwork done -- that he NEVER saw someone work so HARD in all his life ... and he MEANT IT -- he TOLD me to SIT DOWN and RELAX -- but I've NEVER been able to just SIT DOWN and Relax ... HAD to work because there was NO ONE ELSE there to DO the work!

It has occurred to me maybe Nature gave women an edge on longevity to make up for the lack of edge when it comes to physical strength.
For the record, women work as hard as men much of the time.
One final consideration: I've often compared men to the older, larger, less electronically-sophisticated cars of a few decades ago; and women to the smaller but more electronically-sophisticated and efficient newer cars
Hard work doesn't kill anyone. Stress and being miserable does.

Women live longer than men because male health issues are ignored by the health community. We have men dying at a greater rate of just about every major illness, and there is not one office for men's health. In my town (of about 80,000 people) there are 5 agencies which deal specifically with women's health. Zero for men. And this does not include the Women's Hospital located not to far from here.
Maybe I should mention that 4 times as many men kill themselves as women.
Or that 75% of on the job fatalities are male.
I really think that men, specifically, and society, generally, need to put more focus on men's health. I doubt it will happen any time soon, though, as most things that deal with men's issues is swept under the rug.

No I don't believe that at all. Most of the working women I know can put a lot of men to shame. I do believe that women live longer because they are the main care giver. I mean that they look after the children and the men (when they get sick) and if you have a sick child it's the woman that look after them and that could be for a very long time. That's just my thought.

No, not at all. I believe that women live longer than men because they are better at communication and have better stress outlets than men. Women can really connect to their feelings and share with their close friends about how they feel and are not afraid to cry and open up. Also they are proactive with their health and are not afraid to see and talk with their doctor.

I can not understand your thinking,Women work as hard or even more than men, as well we probably do more physical labour, not harder just more, Keep up with 3-5 year old and tell me that is not tiring. children need naps so their mom can get a breather. as for living longer that only happened when they stopped having 8-10 babies or more. so I would say we are equal. but we work in different ways. as in a lot of cases, parents are both working to provide for their family's.
