why do women wear short skirts if?

Question

they then continue to spend the whole day trying to cover up whats showing and think men are perevs when they are looking?
Women, do you wear short skirts, what type, how often and, come on honestly, why?

i wear them all of the time, i like them as they look funky with slouch boots. i agree that if they're not comfortable with the attention then they shouldn't wear one, but it's never bothered me. if i get any attention i at least know i'm looking good lol

my favourite is my black denim mini, and i wear it constantly.

I may sound a bit old fashioned but women are getting so boring with wearing nothing but jeans all the time (though they don't seem to complain about wearing tights/stockings and a skirt for their boss at work). What I really can't stand is old ladies wearing skirts showing their bulbous varicose veins through their dull brown stockings. PS good point from Ams (above). I hate hearing mostly other girls call girls tarts and sluts for wearing stockings and short skirts when it's just jealousy for them being better looking than them.

I dont wear short skirts often at all. i think woman who wear short skirts clubbing etc either enjoy wearing skirts and look good in them and are not wearing them to attact men (although lets be honest the micro mini skirt would interest most men!) or they are out looking for a man. its that simple. Some of my friends wear tiny skirts and have no interest in "pulling a man" but they may find it flattering if blokes take in interest.
If they dont like men looking then i think they should cover up a bit more as surely they understand most men like to look at a bit of leg...or bum cheek in some cases!
I think wearing a tiny skirt to work however is just stating one thing (unless its in the job description!) and i dont think i need to say what. but that is just my personal opinion and is not intended to offend in anyway.

I don't wear skirts of any length, let alone minis. I used to have some skorts (skirts with built in shorts) I would wear sometimes when it was really hot, but otherwise, no. I get enough annoying attention without them, so the last thing I'd want is to wear a miniskirt.

I wear short skirts simply because I like them. I wear them about two times a month. I wear some that are not short as a belt, but short enough. Something about medium of short.

i would only wear a short skirt without tights if i was on the pull or if it was extremely hot, but i do like to wear feminine dresses and other skirts. I also think to not look slutty or desperate you should show less flesh on your upper half if you r going to wear short skirts

yes, I love short skirts, I have a nice body and I love to show it off and love the attention from guys.....I the summer I wear short skirts probably 3-4 times a week.....

i own only 1 really short denim skirt and have never dared to wear it coz i dont want men trying to looking up my skirt.... maybe one day i will wear it with tights... i hate the feeling and makes me very uncomfortable,

although i am told i have nice legs so i wear pencil skirts and knee length skirts to work and feel perfectly comfortable and sophisticated in them.

i love short skirts, and i wear them proudly. i never try to spend the day covering ymself up. if guys look they look, it's actually kinda nice to get attention. women love that. but ( i speak for myself when i say this) i do not wear them to get attention. (some girls i know do.) they look cute and they're fun. i enjoy them.
