We want to go somewhere cheap, fun and that has a good atmosphere for New Years Eve - if anyone knows what Borovets, Bulgaria is like during this time of year we would appreciate any suggestions and advice. Thank you!

I've been at Borovets at NYE. It was an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere is just wonderful. There are other couples but you can't say it's too crowded. The nature over there is really fascinating. It's high in the mountains so you'd better take warm clothes. And about the snow, yeah, there is always snow there during the winter. The ski slope are very well equipped and there are instructors for beginners. It's not expensive at all and you can afford everything that is on offer at the resort. Oh, yeah, and Bulgarian people are really friendly and hospitable.
In my opinion Borovets is a really great choice for NYE. It is certainly something different and interesting. Bulgaria is a really nice country and once you visit it you'll love it.

I dont know about Borovets, but Bansko is an awesome place!
