There are so many regular people out there that hate the nation they live in, and there are even pro-osama/terrorists out there. Am I the only one that thinks that is wrong?

What is wrong is that they hide behind the First Amendment while simultaneously ripping on the country that honors it.

This is akin to someone living in an apartment for free while trashing the land lords property.

Ironically the same useful idiots who spew venom against the US will also have the audacity to tell you with a straight face that they LOVE America! They love it so much, they wish to embarass it on an international stage any chance they get.

I Always try to buy products that are made in America. But when you discuss this with people they flip out and go on about how Americans are lazy we have no work ethic and our products are inferior. I think the opposite is true Americans are smart and hard working, we just wont work for 50 cents an hour with no bathroom breaks. Plus the cost of healthcare kills the American worker. Your not entitled to paid health care but you should be able to get affordable HC. I think that many Americans are so self centered that they think they are the only ones working and everytone else is getting over somehow.
Just look at the Military Us soldiers US training and Made in America weapons theyres not even a close second. When you knock Americas work efforts you better take a close look at yourself

What makes you think people hate the country that they live in? Because they have views that are different from yours? Because they dont like the president or this war for no reason? That makes them anti-American? I havent met anyone yet that is pro-osama or pro-terrorist, have you? You must've, to make such a generalized statement.

What I think is wrong is narrow minded individuals who think that the U.S. should be a police state and don't even realized how close to fascism we are.

"Dissent is the highest form of patriotism" -Thomas Jefferson

We have freedom of speech that has been guaranteed us by the blood of our forefathers. Even for the "Anti-American pro Osama/ terrorists" and people like you.

I think those people like you who have no tolerance for others beliefs are the ones who are "anti-American". It is possible and even necessary at times to oppose the powers that be and even the majority for what is right. With your thinking, America would still be a British Colony.

I find it humurous how so many obvious liberals have taken offense and come out defensive to your question. There is no where I can see where you make reference to them or suggest you may be talking about them. But here they are protesting your statement as if it were addressed to them.

Me thinks they doth protest to much.

The fact is you can disagree with your country's leadership but a majority of Americans voted them into office, thats how this works, campaign against them at election time try to make a change, we get a chance every 4 years, but when you lose shut up and get behind the country. We can't get anything done because we are so partisan. If Bush came out and said I have a plan to end global warming and reverse its effects in 2 weeks, totally alleviate our dependence on fossil fuels by using some bean we grow abundantly and shut down all the oil production next week but everyone in that industry would find good paying jobs with the new bean producers. These people would protest that. Is it because they hate America, no its because they hate Bush and Republicans, well if you equate our governement with the nation then yes they hate America. I have to think that our nation being a democracy, if you hate the leaders that were elected democratically then you hate the country. It probably isn't that black and white, but I know this, I love my country so I support those people who my countrymen have elected into office even if I don't agree with them. Be it Clinton, Bush, Kennedy, Pelosi, McCain, Obama, whoever, when they are elected they're my leader and I'll support them until I get a chance to vote against him. Does that make me ignorant? In their eyes yes, but its loyalty and honor and duty and thats who I want to be, I don't care what they think.

Who are these anti-Americans you are speaking of? To be honest with you, I haven't heard any American say they hate America, regardless of which political party they represent.

If you are referring to honest Americans who merely differ with and actively dislike the president and his party, it seems that they now represent mainstream American values and not the other way around. Does that now mean that Republicans are anti-American just because theirs is now the minority viewpoint? Of course not.

Many people today forget that our nation was founded on dissent, dissent with a governing body that imposed tyranny upon our citizenry. Dissenting with a government that we believe is wrong is not just a right; it is a responsibility. To sit quietly while our freedoms are gradually taken away sends the message to the government that this is what we want. The people of this country sent Mr. Bush a message to the contrary on November 9th. I hope he is listening. I can guarantee you that Congress is.

Who are you referring to? If you think that Liberals or Democrats hate America, not only are you wrong and ignorant, but you obviously don't understand what America stands for. When you say "so many anti-Americans" you make a blanket statement with no support. Tighten up your question and you will get a more specific answer, but right now the awswer is that there aren't "so many anti-Americans" as you claim.

What is an anti-Amercian?

It could be you or me, or my neighbor, or doctor, or pharmacist,
my insurance salesman, my auto mechanic, my car dealer, my
retail store clerk, my gas station attendent, or even my cab driver
et al.

Anti-Americanisn are not limitied to those who are illegal immigrants and have no loyalties to this country.
However many of them do, who are not US naturalized citizens.

Then our job becomes one of setting the example for others to follow, quit having so many divorces, work your differences out
from within, not from without.
Lay off the drugs and booze, especially the young people, give them stronger incentives to study more proficiently in school, at all levels, give them samples of what is meant by seeking and keeping the "American Dream"
Tone down all the video games, aim the games toward
educational and recreational concepts rather than smash, kill,
explode, etc way too much violence is contained in today's
video games.
Focus on the nuclear family as much as possible, spend as
much quality time with your family as time permits.

Now, for all those Americans who constantly criticize in the
negative about whats wrong with America, one statement may
apply. America, love it or leave it.
We have the highest quality of life compared to any other foreign country in the world, and many of those countries are insanely
jealous of that fact!
Those people who are sympathizers to all those foreign nationals who wish to do us harm, are the ones we must be
vigilant about, and the ones who are silent are even more treacherous.
Those kind of people are spies who walk and talk among us, you would never know what their true thoughts are, as they are like chameleons, change color to complement the scenery.

Then there are those who are at the political far left, who are always looking for ways to drag us down, as they feel neglected
as they cannot make a success out of their lives, so they want to make all the rest of us feel as miserable as they are.

There is no other country that has as many career opportunities
as the United States.
You can get financial aid in most educational institutions, on
most levels of curriculum/achievement.
You can rise to the highest level your skills and abilities will
carry you, and with a little luck, attain your personal goals,
and live the "American Dream"

Of course, there are rough patches and pitfalls, this is part
of being human, and we all must deal with these vicissitudes
or ravages of time.
The real challenge, however is how well do you cope with these
issues, and how fast do you bounce back into the mainstream of contemporary living.
These are open ended issues, and its up to the individual to
deal with them when confrontation occurs.
Hopefully the aim is to come out on top, but that doesn't always happen, you just don't win all your battles, but the real goal is not to lose the war.

So I say unto you, if you don't like living in this country, the USA,
get out, and take all your family tree with you, and then see how forgiving it is to live in say, Communist Russia, Red China, or Afghanistan, etc.

Whether I think its right or wrong probably don't matter much, what does, is the precepts and concepts we all share, thats what matters.

Remember many of those who have gone before us (both
military and civilian) did so with the idea in mind to help make our country a little more peaceful and serene, instead of aggressive,
and operate with blood and conquest.
Don't worry, the Islamo-Marxists will have their comeuppance
and they sure won't give thanks to Allah for this type of message.

That's my message, good luck.

everybody has the same rights as you right? Thats what we have laws for?

But if they dont follow are laws and they dont respect others rights its still okay? This PC crap is killing this country.... I sure wish everybody was required to study Roman history or even Bryzantine. Maybe that will show them what is happening. But that takes thought and work, were too busy to see who the next person to get voted out of our reality show.

No immature answers? good luck with that in yahoo A!. lol

I don't believe in the adage..."My country right or wrong".

It's view it more like I view a family...I can say whats wrong with America but I have a problem with people from other countries living here and saying bad things.

Who are you talking about? I have never met anyone that is pro osama/terrorists. I love America I just want it to stay great and not become so controlled that life is horrible. Security from terrorists-yes. Police state-no. It is a fine line and I hope the mix of politicians that are in office can walk that line for Americas sake.
