Easy question, easy answer, but you'll need patience.
If you cannot get hold of the mother and father, or they don't have this info for you, try contacting the county hall of records where he was born. You can get a copy of the birth cert., though you'll need to pay for it. It is under the heading of Vital Records in most counties and it's public documentation.
If you are referring to a newspaper announcement, you need only contact that newspaper and ask for access to the archives for that month. Do a search for his last name and you'll have it.
If you don't know the county or the newspaper/publication it was in, the Internet will help you out there, as well.

I'm not sure what your question is? it wouldn't still be on line that was a year ago, ask your daughter or son if they can mail you another one if they still have one!
