Just a yes or no answer is fine. I know there are other reasons for diaper rash, but my b/f has NEVER heard of this, so I'm taking a poll to see how many people have.
Thanks!

No.

Teething occures in the mouth. Diaper rashes occur on the A$S.

No, it definately doesn't. Or I should say doesn't directly cause it. If you use any medications or remedies for teething irritation, and they cause an allergic reaction or diarhea, then that could cause it. but teething alone will not.

There are several causes of diaper rashes, and teething isn't one of them.
These are the only known causes of diaper rash:
Diaper chafing or wetness
diarhea
Infection (like staph or yeast infections)
allergic reaction (to diaper, wipes or cream. Sometimes even food or medicine allergies)
Seborrheic dermatiti (caused by over-active oil glands, it's rare)
Eczema
Bacterial infections (such as impetigo)

and excess saliva and elevated body temp does not cause diaper rashes. as other people have stated.

I think so....teething causes fevers, which cause the body to heat up, which causes the rash.....:)
