Please check first my question from before. This has to do with it. My friend now has been sent to boarding school to a place that's half the country away from where I live. I miss her a lot, but her parents seem to be content with where she is. I've heard that she's made new friends there, and I'm happy for her. I know last time I was told to listen to what my parents think is best, but I've realized that many of my friends are having the same problems at school as the one I talked about last time. I don't want to lose all my friends, but I know that they're going the wrong way! Please help me! What can I do? And please be serious about your answer. Thanks!

Well, I'm sorry, Niecee, but if you don't like what I said, then I never said you HAD to answer my question.........yes, I KNOW you have other things to do, so do I. If you'd really LIKE to answer my question, then I SUGGESTED that you go back to my other one.

Be around people that will be a good influence on you and vice versa. People your age will make their own choices in life, which can put them on a path for years down the road, then they realize that they messed up. I'm not saying stop being friends with them, just be wary of their actions.

I read your other question and realize that this is very difficult for you. The bottom line, however, is the same; you need to listen to your parents. Even you say that your friends are headed in the wrong direction, your parents don't want that to happen to you. You're very fortunate to have parents that love you enough to tell you "no". You can't control the decisions that your friends make, but you do control the ones you make. Make the right decision for your life; respect and obey your parents. Good luck!

Darn it, I can't help and I want to. It sounds really good since it's obviously about friendship.

I really wish I knew what your other question was or the title so that I can search for it.

P.S. I did a search - I couldn't find it, but good luck - I am sure someone here will be able to help you without being snide. :)
