I'll always respect "Nightmare On Elmstreet" for scaring the hell out of me when I was 8 years old...so that's my favorite!

For some strange reason I like Event Horizon. I'm also a big fan of the Evil Dead movies, The Child'd Play movies and many Stephen King adaptations (The Shining, It, Christine, Carrie and Misery).
