I do! I do! I do! Can we get some popcorn and a whole buncha candy and stuff huh?? Can we? Can we? LOL I am nothing but a big kid at heart and I LOVE kids movies. I do, however, have a slight beef about a few of them that have come out. I don't think they should be violent, or have bad language, or anything that is not suitable for children of ANY age. I know that is a matter of opinion but c'mon use your consciences. That being said, I am constantly trying to get my boyfriend to watch them and he somehow thinks it will take some macho away..lol I finally got him to watch Finding Nemo and he loved it. There is a lot of adult humor that they pass right by the kids. If you have never seen or if its been a while since you've seen a "kids" movie...do yourself a favor and rent one. I promise you will enjoy it.

I do especially if its a Disney movie! I went to see Fantasia when it was re-released in theaters a few years ago and I think I may have been the only adult there without a child. A former friend and I also went to see Pete's Dragon when it was re-released at the El Capitan in Los Angeles about three years ago AND we sang along with the movie too!

I do. If I haven't got any kids to take to the cinema why shouldn't I go. Some of the best films are kids films. I don't get embarassed cos I'm a big kid at heart. I am also going to the Magic Kingdom on my own too. No one else in my family wants to go.But you can bet I'll be having fun.

I have a 9 y/o and a 12 y/o. Me and my their dad we're at the cinema at the weekeend and there was an older guy sat in the movies watching the kids film too.
I know it's slightly prejudice but I do worry about these guys going to the cinema when it's rife with kids to watch kids films. I know not all people that do this are sex offenders - but as a concerned parent one can't help but think its a possibility.

I haven't been to a kids movie on my own, because I just drag the kids along to the ones I want to see like Toy Story, Shrek etc. I would go without them and without any embarassment - some of the kids films are a lot better!

If there is a PG kids movie my children want to see. I may go watch it first to make sure there is nothing to graphic in it before I let them go. Some children movies have some things children a certain age shouldn't see.
P.S: Also some of the movies coming out for children are better than movies for adults. I enjoyed the heck out of Cars.

I agreed with Kookie. You can never be too safe now when it comes to your kids. But kids shouldn't be at the movies alone anyways, so I wouldn't pay any mind to any adults in their without kids. Like the others said, they may be in there for a screening before they let their kids see it.
Before I had kids of my own I used to get a friends child or child relative to go with me to enjoy it also. My favorite movies are the Pixar ones. Love their shorts films also.

I went to see Ice Age 2 with my girlfriend. I've also been to see Finding Nemo, The Incredibles and Shrek without a screaming brat in sight.

I have never taken my daughter to a movie. I've debated going to the matinees we have for moms & tots, but that's the ONLY way I'd take her. Babies and toddlers are too young to understand the movie. Until your child can sit while watching one at home, leave him there.
