I use DVD Shrink frequently and I have often come up against this error. I don't know exactly what it means, but I think it's about the drive, not the dvd. I have two drives in my system, and if one doesn't work I try the other one. I have yet to run into a dvd that won't rip from either drive. I would suggest using a second dvd drive or a different computer altogether.

P.S. I believe that DVD+-RW drives don't like dvd shrink and generate that error. A standard DVD-ROM tends to work better

P.P.S. DVD Shrink can import already ripped dvds. I keep a copy of DVD Decrypter around in case.

DVD-decrease is tremendous yet some reproduction-secure discs received`t crack inspite of it. After the initial study-by it in a good number of cases takes a everyday DVD something from 5 minutes to 40 5 minutes to be decoded - burning again relies upon on disc % and force % alternatives.you may pick to comprise subtitles ,extras ,different languages or not on the cracking open level purely by leaving the boxes ticked or unticking them as provided. And as for playback on DVD gamers - searching on variety of disc and participant you shouldn`t extremely have any complications ,I don`t. yet bear in mind DVD piracy is a criminal offense LOL.

If D:\ is your source DVD drive, then it sounds like either the DVD itself has some unreadable tracks, or the drive itself may be going bad. Does this error occur with just one specific DVD or with anything you try to copy? If it's just one DVD, try having that disc cleaned/rersufaced before trying again.

Hi!
This error can be produced by two facts,
one, that I think you have already thought is that maybe disc is dirty...
and two, is the new protections to DVDs, to fix that, you must have installed at least AnyDVD of Slysoft and running it in memory, it crashes the DVD protection...

you may download a demo to probe of AnyDVD at his webpage

CRC=file is corrupted, try uninstalling and then installing the program again, and if the error still persists ask the vendor (if you have got a legal copy, that is) :)
