I only take it personally when I know that I gave a good answer. Last night, someone asked why her question was removed/was a violation/whatever and I linked the Community Guidelines and said it provoked a conversation which was a no no. Everyone else was like "it's a conspiracy, Yahoo! Answers employees have no life, etc etc.
It's like, excuse me for answering the question correctly, while all of you just guess and make stuff up.

I don't let it get to me, nobody here knows me in a personal way, they can give me all the thumbs down they want to, it's not going to make or break me, if that were the case, i'd be in trouble.

Yeah I do a little but thats mosty when answer politcal questions some people just cant handle other peoples thoughts, opinions, or ideas so they just down them.

It stings for a moment, but then I realize that there are people who are so narrow-minded that they cannot tolerate anyone who is of a different opinion than theirs. What bothers me even worse than that is when I get reported for disagreeing with someone.

It depends what kind of question it is, if it's polls and surveys I don't care because it's just opinion but it does annoy me sometimes when I think they're underserved. Although, they are pretty meaningless.
