ok im a doctor at springfield mass medical hospital so lsten well. what you do is get a place in the hospital. that way you wll b in the bed hen your water breaks, and docors will be on scene. also, birth does not happen at exactly nine mots, you usually wait a week or so. and you might have one or 2 more false contractions so dont make any scene if u feel them.

Doctors generally dont let a pregnancy go any longer than 2 wks after the due date.

Girl I know the feeling. My due date is still two weeks away and I'm going insane!!! I can't imagine how you feel. It really is true though..."it is going to happen sooner or later" Just sleep alot. I find that is the best way to pass time :) Good Luck! Hand in there.

Just relax as much as possible. This baby will come when he/she is ready! Most doctors won't let you go much more then 40 weeks. And if it looks like you aren't going to progress on your own then they will induce you.

Good luck and congrats!

I agree with everyone else. Just wait the baby will come when it is ready. If not then they would have to induce labor.

If you are really 'due' your doctor will not let you go too far over the date. Your doctor may have to induce you; I was induced twice. That makes the cervix dialate (open) with medication. Good luck, it will come soon enough....REST NOW...

erm. its actually technically 10months.. you dont start counting once you hit 9 months.. (cause that means that only 8 months has finished) you have to completely finish the 9 months.. weird huh

if your realy umcomfortable tell your doctor and he will induce labor, but just give the baby time, he/she will come when the time is right and if it decides it dont want to come out, the doctors will make it....
