Just one. In the winter they may go off lay completely since egg laying is partly controlled by the amount of daylight available.

depends on the hen.. 3 to 5 average.. rarely 5 though, but my grandmother has some power hens.. haha! they lay 5.. then one old lazy hen only lays 1 or so every other day.. I guess it depends on the hen.
