The democrats aren’t about to sell out and buy into Bush’s failed views. Pelosi and the Dems. Came to play! It is Bush’s turn to know what it feels like to be on the other side of the fence?

Not long. Pelosi is tough... she will play Bush's game for a while but she has not forgotten the way Bush refused to listen to any common sense coming from the Democrats. She will accomplish what they came to do. Hopefully the stem cell issue will be brought back into the table!

There is usually a "honey moon period" last a couple of months, but then it is hard to get anything done, look for improvements in minimum wage and also a plan for the withdrawal of troops from Iraq. When the Dem's bring up health care it will be over and they will become combative again. Dems will blame Repuglicans, Repuglicans will blame the democrats and we will be back to good ol' grid lock, that will be an improvement over the last two years.

They are all crooks! Pelosi blasted Bush and now all at once she is not going to look into any war crimes and impeachment!
I could be wrong but I think that Bush is going to stay on his usual agenda of war and killing and they all will get to waste the tax payers hard earned dollars on what ever they want!

I don't know, but Pelosi already said that they wouldn't try to impeach Bush or prosecute him for war crimes. So, it makes me wonder about all of them. How many of all of there views are real, and how much is show? But, at this point, I do feel mildly optimistic.

There has to be cooperation. The Congress cannot pass laws that the president won't sign. And they don't have the necessary margin to override a veto.

Since some of the representatives that won are decidedly conservative and ran without DNC or state party support they owe nothing to the party. While the Democrats may have a majority of the house and senate, the liberals do not.

There really isn't any. Partisanship fights will continue until after the 2008 presidential election.

democrats don't have the 2/3rd majority to overide a bush veto so they have to cooperate.

It lasted until about 8:01. Rangel started babbling, Billary made some more stupid comments and Katie changed her wardrobe.

It's true the demos own congress now. The problem is they don't have a clue what to do. Other than raise taxes, do they have an agenda?
