I'm not a WWII veteran, but I do have an opinion on it! They fought and died for our freedom, and although we should be forever grateful to them for this, we do now have the freedom to choose whether we wear a poppy or not.
They'd be happy for us.
PS, I DO wear a poppy with pride.

Iam no longer a WW11 veteran yet Iam a Vietnam Veteran, and John Snow's movements resembled the historic act of Rosa Parks. If no person does some thing drastic then the powers that be will assume that anybody is in prefer of what they're doing. So properly carried out John Snow upward thrust up for what you suspect in, this remains usa has no longer long previous into dictatorship yet.

Good for him.He doesn't need to if he doesn't want to. Thats what the soldiers of my father's generation fought to give us. Freedom.

Remember please that the red poppy is symbol of the First World War, the war to end all wars, the Great War. There is nothing more moving than to visit the war graves of our soldiers who died to keep us free. This is what makes it all the more fitting that the red poppy is still the symbol that reflects our remembrance of those who are still fighting and dying for our freedom right up to this present day. May God bless them all.
