I just want to know WHO exactly wants it to be illegal and why?

In this "freedom of speech country, there is no reason to not be able to discuss marijuana.
It was on the ballot again in Nevada, I no longer live there and don't know the result. While I lived in NV, they passed the medical Marijuana bill. I got my card, you need a Dr. statement (not prescription) that your problem is fact. They then decide whether or not to grant you entry in to program. You go to the DMV (yep!), get your picture made and your card looks much like a drivers license. You have to be fingerprinted and you must renew yearly.
Of course I would like to see it legalized.

The government wants it illegal because with it being legal they wouldn't make as much $ off Americans as they do with it being illegal. I personally think bars should be illegal, don't get me wrong I drink, but i definitely don't drink at a bar, cause "How do you get to a bar?" Um you drive so to leave the bar (after drinking) you What's the word Drive While Intoxicated" It's stupid! How many people do you know smoked one and ran down someone? They should make that legal and make it so people have to drink on private property! That's my opinion, let's see if it gets erased!!HAHA

I think it should be a personal choice if a person wants to smoke it or not! I think it should be legal, but have limitations on it. If a person chooses to do it, that is their choice, shouldn't be the governments choice. Look around, and see a lot less kids would probably not do it if it was legal, it wouldn't be breaking the rules no more! That's just my choice. I don't do it, and don't care if someone else does.....It should be that person's choice and leave the government out of it!

Any chemical substance which interfere with blood bio-chemistry and alter mental status is not legal. If some one use it and change the control of mind, positive or negative, will harm some one or him/her self. It can not be legal. Is it social substance to use among family. Do we allow to use 5 yrs old child in our house?

a theory i heard was that it became illegal when prohibition ended, because since they legalized alcohol again, they had to make something else illegal in its place. i don't know how accurate this theory is, but it kinda makes sense.

The government and its just another reason for them to control us. there is medication that is prescribed to people that have worse side effects than marijuana
