Now that Rutgers upset Louisville that leaves only Ohio State, Michigan, and Florida ahead of Texas. Ohio State and Michigan plan in about 10 days. If Texas can win out will we see a re-match and can Texas pull off the upset this time? Colt McCoy is looking much better.

Robert, you make a lot of good points, and Texas may well lose again if they play. However, you say Texas barely beat Nebraska. Well, Ohio State barely beat Illinois. Is Illinois as good as Nebraska this year?

I hear what you're saying, but the loser of Michigan-Ohio State will not play again for the title. Texas would get another shot first.

GMan: What about Ohio State vs. Illinois last week? Is Illinois a good team?

You make a reasonable argument, but you know the BCS and the polls are not logical animals. The loser of Ohio State and Michigan will fall about 5 places, right or wrong and it is almost the last week of the season. I would be very surprised to see them move back up to the 2 spot in the final poll.

I really don't think so
every body is saying that texas is a better team now
saying Colt McCoy has become a lot better
when I watched that game colt mccoy played fine it wasn't his fault they lost

so Now I think they just LOOK better playing lesser teams
they played a couple good teams and barely won
I don't think they can beat the bucks
and it wouldn't be fair to the other teams

Hey you never know that very well could happen but like I said you never know maybe Michigan beats Ohio State and Florida loses this week and Texas wins then Michigan could knock out Ohio State and Florida gets bumped down then it could end up being Texas versus Michigan but what most likely will happen is Ohio State beats Michigan therefore bumping Michigan down and bumping up Florida and Texas at 2 and 3 with Michigan possibly sliding down to 7-10 this whole BCS system is crazy as hell and there should be a playoff instead

USC will beat Ohio State 34-21 Stefon Johnson and Joe McKnight will kill Ohio State on the floor and Matt Barkley looks good as you reported good factor for OSU its in Columbus which would be a super homefield income. USC flourishes in vast video games against ranked communities below Pete Carroll even with the undeniable fact that and that i think of they're going to here as nicely

No. Michigan WILL lose to Ohio State next week. Florida faces SC, Western Carolina and depleated FSU, plus the SEC championship vs. Auburn, and win by a reasonable score. Texas WILL lose in their champ. vs. Mizz. And finally, Ohio State WILL lose to Florida amidst controversy that Florida cheated because Ohio State is BELIEVED to be better.

Texas has played 3 real games this season.
They played Ohio State and got blown out 7-24. It wasn't even close. If you try to argue otherwise you are only fooling yourself.
People say well Texas QB was young and they have gotten better but OSU's defense was young and they have gotten better.

They barely escaped Nebrasaka 22-20 thanks to Nebraska making a key fumble at the end of the game.

They beat Oklahoma who is in turmoil thanks to losing starting QB right before the season started. That was a good win though I won't take that away from them.

Texas will lose again to OSU. They had there chance they didn't win time for the next team to try.

first things first............i dont think rutgers upset louisville.i think rutgers was there to play and win.the spread was only 6 points.rutgers is the first team louisville has played this year that has a "real" defense.so therefor it is not an upset in my eyes.
secondly..........it would be nice to see texas play ohio state again.i think it wiould be alot better game than the first one.ohio state would prob win again.
now if texas wins out and when either osu or michigan beast each other, texas will not rise up to much in the bcs because of the strenght of schedule.no doubt the sec has a better confrence than the big 12.
i think we wil see texas either play florida and the loser of mi-osu in the consolation game.
by the way....................HOOK'M HORNS!!!!!!!!

Hahah very funny! Texas plays in the worst conference, and there only good wins are aginst Okla and barley over Neb...and neither of those teams are top 10-15. The SEC champ will easily make the title game over Texas.....even the looser of mich vs ohio st would make it over tex.

texasman is dead on with his evaluation!

But im sayin that if tex and mich/osu each finish with one loss, mich and osu would be a better 1 loss team than Texas.....michigan would have the same 1 loss as tex, but better wins cuz they beat a top 10 team in ND....and OSU would be a better one loss team than Texas cuz they beat texas....so i dont see how tex can jump a 1 loss michigan/osu

It all depends on how the BCS plays out. Thats why they should have a 12 team playoff
