yeah everybody carries different! but at 16 weeks your uterus is just below your belly button the top of the uterus is around 16 cm from your pubic bone xx

your stomach being hard probably has nothign to do with your pregnancy. At 20 weeks pregnant, the uterus has only grown up to your belly button. So at 16 weeks, you're not even there yet. So anything you feel above your belly button isn't your uterus/baby.

If you feel any pain, or are worried, you should call your doctor.

Check with your midwife if you are worried. Everyone carries different. At 15 weeks, it didnt look like i was pregnant and i was saying to everyone that perhaps i wont show very much. Then overnight, my bump popped out and it is huge :/ Proved me wrong!

This is my second child and you tend to show sooner cause the muscles are more stretched. The baby is just above your pubic bone i think at 16 weeks. Try not to worry, i think you would be in discomfort if there was a problem. x

The first rule of pregnancy is that there is no "normal" every woman is different.

What you are probably experiencing is an urge to feel your pregnancy and to bond with your fetus. Instead of channeling your energy into "is this wrong" you should try to focus good thoughts on the developing fetus, perhaps even talking to the fetus. You might also contemplate the kind of mother you want to be, how you will make motherhood work and focus on all the transformations you are going through.

Unless you have pain, bleeding or contractions (and you will know contractions), there is nothing to worry about.

well I am just 16 weeks today, I am only carrying 1, I have already gained like 10 pounds. My naseau went away when I was like 12 weeks, I have no swelling, I have been feeling my baby move since I was about 14 weeks. I have very sensitive nipples, and horrible gas pains, Everyone has different symptoms at different weeks

Yes, it's normal....the baby moves around in there and when it is hard at the top, that's where the baby is. When you lay down, the baby may move towards the back, you'd be surprised how much room is in there!
