Here's the thing. I started my period 5 days early and its ALOT lighter that what it normally is. Could that mean im pregnant? Is it even possible to have any sort of period if you are pregnant? I already bought a pregnancy test just wanted to know if that was possible.

It is possible to have bleeding when you're pregnant. Light bleeding can also be 'implantation bleeding'. This is when the fertilized egg is trying to burrow into the walls of the uterus. Five days before your period is around that implantation time. It happens 6 to 12 days after ovulation. That is, if the egg was fertilized. I wouldn't take the test until your period is expected.

Yes it is possible to have a "period" while you are pregnant, i am 71/2 months pregnant, when i was about 2-3 months pregnant i had a very light period which only lasted a couple days, i asked the doctor and i ws told it was normal and that everything was fine... i didnt have that with my first baby but had it the second time so i believe it is normal, however you might want to wait a couple weeks to take a home test, either that or go to the doctors asap and find out for sure!!

I'd guess that your period is just 5 days early and lighter than normal. It IS possible to have a period while pregnant, it happens occasionally. Take the test to ease your mind, but it's doubtful.

It is possible for a woman to have her period and still be pregnant. You said that it was a normal period with the exception that it was lighter in colour, I don't think that you are pregnant but if you feel any of the symptoms such as fatigue, nausea and tender breast then I think that you should check it out with your pregnancy test. Good luck.

Yes, it is called implantaion bleeding. It will take a couple of days for the HGC to get into your urine stream so wait until the first day of your missed period and take the test then. GOOD LUCK :o)

You could be pregnant. If you had some spotting, then it could be implantation bleeding that you are experiencing. I personally have not had that experience, but I know many women who have.
