As much as I love the show, I really think they would have been struggling for new storylines if they had gone one more season. The Rambaldi thing was solved, Syd and Vaughn were back together. It would have been a strained season, in terms of anything creative. Better to go out on top than go out after a bad last season.
I think that in a couple of years, they should do an Alias movie. You know that Isabelle is cut from the same cloth as Sydney, so she's going to grow up to be a spy, too.

Yeah! Gosh I miss it! And I gotta tell ya, of the whole ending thing, I'm SO happy that our little british dude Mr. Sark got away! ABC should just give the man his own show, already! And then the chasing could go on with Syd's kids trying to catch that slippery man! HAHA!
