Can you recommend any good brands of pantyhose? I am looking for a "barely there" shade of nude, with no glitter or sheen, to wear with peep-toe heels and a cocktail dress. I am looking for a pair that doesn’t run or snag easily and holds their shape when you take them off, meaning that they are not as stretchy as the common drugstore brands. With some running at $50 to $100 a pair and hundreds of brands and styles to choose from, I may be broke before I find them! Thanks!

The first worry should be finding a low denier, which is the level of sheerness of hose. And you have to have a sandal toe for the shoes. Then worry about whether or not they will keep their shape after you take them off; it really shouldn't matter since you will be washing them anyway and they will regain their shape in the water. Any of these are good brands that will give you the look you want, and will hold up against runs fairly well during your evenings. Plus, they are inexpensive enough that it won't hurt your budget if they do snag, and you have to buy another pair.

There are many reasons to wear pantyhose. They can keep you warm, are comfortable, generally make the legs look a lot better, and they feel wonderful. But there are also a lot of women who don't like to wear them. And of course men can also wear pantyhose. Many do so already and their numbers are on the increase. I love to wear them as well and for me there are more reasons to wear them than not to wear them. So, if you want to try them you should, they are great to wear and you won't regret it. It is an experience you shouldn't deny yourself.

Check out www.stockingstore.com. They have a huge selection from Europe.
You don't need to spent $50.00 either. Although I prefer stockings to pantyhose, I have worn all of the sheer to waist 10 denier or less pantyhose that they have and I think they will work for you. They are worlds above the drug store brands, and not loaded with Lycra like so many American brands that are probably made in Tiawan anyway.

best to buy a cheap pair and use them only once. i buy a pair for .99cents and sure it may last 1 time but its better thanbuying a pair for $50 and use it 10 times. also i never ever snag or run until you take them out but yet again i am not very careful withthem cause they so cheap so maybe they will last 2 wears or more if i was more careful

Victoria's Secret hold shape well but snag and run VERY easily. The ones they sell at KMart are nice, but I don't remember the name of them..they're like six or seven dollars, I think.

Donna Karan's "The nudes" are very comfortable and have more of a matte appearance. L'eggs Sheer Energy and L'eggs Reliance are also good and cheaper than department store brands, but have just a little more sheen to them.

I wear pantyhose everyday and have for years.I love pantyhose.And I have found the ebst IMO, are Leggs Control Top Pantyhose.They are the only pantyhose I wear.And I buy them in "bulk",so I never run out.

May i recomend vinatge RHT stockings held up with a garterbelt? That is the hot vinatge pin-up fashion which goes great with the peep-toe shoes.

I'm not sure, but definitly check out Macy's or Lord and Taylor. They should be able to help you very well. I don't really use pantyhose, but I bought a great pair of black leggings for a great price at Macys!
