For example, I never use the expressions "it's a big ask", or "pear-shaped" and I'm assuming some, if not all of you, never say things like "yes, I was wrong", "I am not good in bed" or "I'm a bad driver" ;-)
So you don't have to use those expressions. Tell me what words or expressions you never use, and why.
Why thank you...

"Have a good one."
(I find this to be rather presumptuous... have a good WHAT?)
"At the end of the day..."
(No reason, really, just one of those phrases I cordially detest.)
"You think too much," or "You have too much free time."
(Just because it would have taken YOU several hours to come up with the same deduction, that doesn't mean I didn't do so in mere seconds. My typical rebuttal is, "Or, perhaps you think too little.")
"May or may not be the case."
(Right... it either will, or it won't. Standard law of probability; just PICK ONE!)
"Welcome to the real world."
(Said nearly every time something bad happens. I don't need my problems downplayed by someone who feels they have more life experience than I do. I've never quite understood what "pretend world" they're insinuating I've spent the last couple of decades living in...)
Oh, there are so many more. I'm very irritable about this sort of thing, and tend to avoid cliches like the plague. :)

I heard one person say this often:" Why don't you write a book about all these things that you never saw before?"
I would never be so unappreciative of this sense of wonder, delight in discovery and a willingness to share the experience. I value people and encourage growth and widening of perspective. I embrace the new.
The gains are worth the risk.

Funny you should ask...(hey that's one I guess I can't say I don't use). Anyway, it is funny you should ask because last night I was watching the Rutger/Louisville football game and the announcer kept on saying "Kudos". I have never used the expression and I don't like it because it was over-used by my old manager at work. It sounds like a candy bar to me and I would prefer people to just say "good job, or good for you".

It ability you're performing like somebody or something wronged you, whilst in fact they or it did not. as an occasion, you would be enjoying the sufferer in case you have been searching for interest by ability of pretending you're harm. some people use it as a protection mechanism. it is likewise the thank you to describe how somebody is arguing their case. in case you play the sufferer, then you definately attempt to get sympathy out of your aim industry and make something or somebody else look undesirable.

i never say "HA! I am right" whenever I am correct about something. My friend does that and everyone gets annoyed. When I am right, I just stay quiet and eventually after like 20 sec. the person who was incorrect will say "Oops, I'm wrong."
