.25(x)+.1(2x)=9.90

.25x+.2x=9.90

.45x=9.90

x=22

2x=44

.25 * x + .1 * 2x = 9.90

.25x + .2x = 9.90
.45x = 9.90

x = 22 ... ( 22 * .25 = 5.50)
2x= 44 .... ( 44 * .1 = 4.40) ... 4.40 + 5.50 = 9.90
