I have a dead IPOD, am looking at other pods, and have scoped out all the other players. My preference would be to upload all my music from my current computer into my new Mac Mini and then, have a player that works with the new system. So many to choose from; does one have everything? What's your flavor?

I happen to prefer the iPods. Their storage capacity is good, and mine sure has been durable. Dell also has a good mp3 player.

first of all, don't get an iPod again, you'll pay $5-15 on name alone, Creative has a good product (I have one) my girlfriend's mom just got a really nice one from RCA last night and it's really great, and Scandisk is pretty good too
