I have a good set of bagpipes.the metal on my bagpipes is very dull.Will polish be able to get the metal to shine again
Please help

Assuming that the metal is not true silver and is the more commonly used nickel, then lots of polishes will work: Duraglit (or Nevrdul, pretty much the same thing), MAAS, Brasso, "Cape Cod" metal polish, etc.

You want to try and avoid contact with the wood (or poly if they are plastic pipes) and just use it on the metal. Probably wouldn't hurt to tape off around where you are polishing, though if you are careful, that's unnecessary.

If it's true silver—expensive set of pipes!—you'll want to use a silver polish.

Yes, I use whatever I happen to find around the house and apply a light coating and polish them up.
