I HAVE MISSED TAKING IT ONLY 3 TIMES. I USUALLY TAKE IT AT NIGHT, AND THE LAST TIME I FORGOT IT WAS LIKE 12 HOURS LATER BEFORE I TOOK IT BECAUSE I WASN'T HOME. LATELY I HAVE HAD REALLY BAD HEARTBURN (ALMOST EVERYDAY), NAUSEATED, EXTREMELY TIRED AND MY LAST PERIOD WAS A LITTLE ABNORMAL. USUALLY IT LAST 4 DAYS AND USUALLY HEAVY. THE LAST ONE WAS 2.5 DAYS AND VERY LIGHT. I HAVEN'T TAKEN A TEST BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT CHEAP. I AM JUST WONDERING IF I COULD BE.

I had this happen to me...the nausea, fatigue, and I was late. I invested in a pregnancy test, and it turned out that I wasn't Apparently I was stressed out because I thought I might be. I know the tests aren't cheap, but make that investment in yourself, just for your peace of mind. You're worth it.

You might also want to change the time of day you take your pills (first thing in the morning, or with lunch, etc.). Keep them on you at all times. Even though you hardly ever miss, sometimes you don't take it. It'd be better to keep them on you than to take that chance.
Good luck!

Being late taking the pill (even once) can quadruple the chance of getting pregnant. If you are in the US, you can get a pregnancy test at almost any dollar store and surprisingly I have found them to be just as accurate as the expensive ones.

The pill is not 100%, and it doesn't help when you forget it. I think you need to take a test. If you can't afford a test, then look in your phone book for a planned parenthood center. They can tell you where you can get a free pregnancy test.

You could be. Get the generic test. It's only like eight dollars, and it works.
