I'm wondering if these cramps I'm having is due to the baby implanting? Any other reason I could be having cramps? They feel like period cramps, but not as intense, just dull. Anyone else have cramps during the first few weeks? I am about 3-4 weeks now.

The light cramps you are experiencing are quite common in early pregnancy. What you are feeling is the uterus expanding in anticipation of the growing baby. As long as the pain remains mild, and you don't experience significant bleeding, there's little reason for concern. Nevertheless, call your doctor if you find yourself worrying excessively. The peace of mind is worth a phone call.

This is normal for now. As long as the cramps is not severe and not accompanied by bleeding, you're just fine. Have you made an appointment to see an OB yet? Please do so, and also take prenatal vitamins (over the counter or Rx, it doesn't matter).

If you've already taken a pregnancy test and it shows positive, it means that the fertilized egg has already implanted.

I am 2 weeks pregnant right now and also feel like I'm having period cramps.

i had a baby 7 months ago and i had period like cramps for about the first 15 weeks of my pregnancy...it scarred me to death because i thought something was wrong but when i asked my doctor she told me the cramps are due to your body adapting to the changes going on. they can happen because your ovaries aren't releasing an egg or just because you have a tiny "baby" growing inside you and it causes cramping in the uterus. the only pain that i was told can be a warning sign is if you have cramping only on one particular side really low. Is this your first child? pregnancy comes with a lot of discomfort and pain...and most of that pain is perfectly normal!
congradulations!!

This is normal. You should feel cramps and twinges. Your uterus is expanding. Even though your baby is less than the size of a raisin at this point, you will still feel your uterus growing as the baby grows. It's perfectly normal. Unless the cramps are severe, consider yourself lucky. My baby stopped growing after 5 weeks. So, love those cramps when they happen.

I had mild cramping when I was 4-5 weeks pregnant, nothing like when I would cramp from my period. My OB said that if there's no bleeding or fluids then it's the uterus already expanding.

I'd still call your OB and see if he/she recommends you coming in for a check-up. It never hurts to ask your doctor!!!

Yes, I had cramps all through my pregnancy and everything was fine. If you're concerned though be sure to call your doctor. The office staff should be able to help you. They're used to these kind of questions especially from a first time mom. Good luck to you!

A dull achiness is most lickly just your uterus beging to strech, I had it in my first pregnancy, but not with the other two, I asked the doctor about it (at the ER I though something was wrong) they said it was normal unless it intensifies or there is bleeding.

Yes it can be normal, I have 2 babies and have had two miscarriages, just try to relax if your concerned, try a little bed rest, if you start spotting then its something to worry about. Stress is never good on a pregnant woman, especially so early in pregnancy.Your fine don't worry, just take it easy sweety.
