They think if they drill THEIR truth into you then you haven't really been harmed at all.

They don't seem to want to accept that virtually every scientific, psychological, medical and sociological authority on the matter says that there is nothing to "cure" in you and that the REAL sickness is an abnormal aversion to homosexuality and homosexuals. It's call homophobia and the people who harrass you are HOMOPHOBES.

The problem is theirs. NOT yours.

Well, people in general don't care too much about fags personally; people are still NOT okay with the fact that men call them selves loving a man and a woman loving a woman in the same way god intended for man and woman to be. Same sex is just not RIGHT....repeat it toyourself 'SAME- SEX'. Humans don't get produced by 2 men or 2 women. God made man and woman to be joined at the appropiate time in order to reproduce...to give life. Homosexuality is sick and not right. No sin is greater than the other, but damn.....being gay is just utterly disgusting and gross. I'd rather be a slut, thief, or criminal before I turned to a woman for support or love. I am already a beautiful woman, all I'll ever want is a nice masculine MALE!!!!!!!!!!! Men that are gay, are really triflin....they like to get stuck in the back by another hard legged MAN!!!!!EEEeeeeewwwwwww!!!!!!!!!

I personally am against homosexuality, due to my religious beliefs, and I have that right to voice my opinion. HOWEVER, that does not give me the right to ridicule, to mock, to stare, to hurt anybody for whatever their beliefs. I don't want people treating me badly for my beliefs either. I can kindly and lovingly tell someone of my experiences, and I would hope that they would do the same. That's the only way to truly get people to listen. I've had to learn that lesson the hard way lately, this morning as a matter of fact. I'm certainly not perfect.

But those who hate homosexuals WANT to hurt you, don't you know? Conservatives, Bible-brainwashed Christian zealots, republicans... so you'll have to learn to live with that and not pay much attention to them. You should go back to school anyway - maybe try a different school, but, sadly, you'll be better off hiding your sexual orientation. Do not EVER think or believe that your orientation is a sin, though - gay bashing is, they judge people while judging is not their business.

You're stared at because you arn't the norm and people will always be interested (sometimes appalled) by something that is not statistically normal.

One other thought is that if you and your girlfriend are "hot" then fella's will stare and wonder what a waste. Get used to it as it will last a lifetime and think yourself lucky you live in a country that won't throw you in jail for your preferance

Straight people seem to care more about my sexual preference than I do. It's retarded. Who cares who I find attractive? Why is it such a big deal? I agree with you. The only answer I have is...Most people fear what they don't understand.

An example is the answer below me. Ignorance is way too common today. People need better things to worry about than my sex life. And I bet this guy don't complain when he watches his lesbian porn movies.

Because some people are just mean-spirited and thoughtless cretins who enjoy the false sense of power they feel when they hurt someone else.

There's nothing you can do about it except react with the grace and good manners that they lack. Think of them as rabble and walk like you own the world, hon.

because some people are still scared of anyone/anything that's different...because they are ignorant. they've been raised by bigoted parents. hatred is a learned behavior...and a destructive one. and I think a lot of these people have screwed up personal lives anyway....and they lash out at others in retaliation. as you can see by some of the ignorant, hateful remarks already posted to your questions...there's still a long way to go educating these hate-mongering fools. it is stupid because THEY are stupid...they don't understand, and they never will because they refuse to educate themselves and accept the truth.

yeah, because it says in the bible, but hey thats how all or some people will be, they will always judge you no matter what, like if your poor they will judge you, if your rich they will judge you, if your pretty they will judge you and if your ugly they will judge you, its so dumb, no matter what someone is always having to say something....heyjust dont worry about what they think, you are you and no one can change that,,....dont pay no attention....they have there own problems, so they should not even be thinking bad about you, and if they are....who are they to judge you, they are no one,

hope this helps......sincerly a girl named serina

B/C those people are idiots!

Everyone has the right to be who they are and should be respected for it.

If this is YOU that you're referring to, I'm sorry you're going through this.

You're right - all sins are equal. However, I personally don't believe it's a sin to be gay. I believe you're born that way. I mean, look at it like this, WHO would "choose" to be made fun of, ridiculed, bashed, hurt and in some cases killed, b/c of a lifestyle?

GOD LUCK! I feel for you!
BTW, I'm straight and in support of gays and their rights.
