I believe it will continue to go downhill until we are no longer a superpower and eventually socumb to an invasion.

I think we will emplode upon ourselves as all other major civilizations have done in the past. We are spead to far, too thin, and are spending way to far. If we are the most powerful country in the world why in the heck are with 3-4 TRILLION dollars in debit. Money shouldn't be such an issue if we were truely such a great nation. Now i'm patriotic don't get me wrong. I just think that we need to make some major changes in this country to get things moving. I'm hoping the recent elections will help. I'm not a democrat nor am i a republican. i voted for a dem for senate and a repub for congress. Just my opinions.

I think USA now is like whos India once(I'm not from India),nr1 in world.If try to make parallel then can see:americans go all over the planet like the gipsies(they are peoples from India).After USA give a great legacy for all the humanity,another country will take over the estafette and will have americans all over the planet like with the gipsies just the name will be diferent,maybe:yankees.
