My downstairs neighbour is both elderly and alcoholic, and such a sweetie. We regularly check in on him and have a set of his keys in case anything should happen.

no, my next door elderly neighbour is always hitting me and let me tell you it hurts. She is for ever telling me off for parking outside my own house claiming that I'm obstructing her view of the road.
Strange i know. I think she's very bitter and treats everyone one around her like cr*p.
i look after other elderly people in the neighbourhood though. it's polite and i would hope that they would look out for me.

Yes, I do! As long as I have my health, I will do what I can to help my neighbors whatever their age. I am quickly becoming an "elderly" neighbor myself, so hopefully my investment will help take care of me in later life. Regardless of that outcome, I will still do for my neighbors.

I most certainly do, and I pray someday to have someone to look out for me. 1Peter 5:2 (speaking to the elders) says- "..Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof,..."
and to the youth- :5 "Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder."
We all need each other.

i got six kids so i do what i can for them but some times it hard
