I hope you get a good response to this question, i agree with you,and wonder what type of person watches that crap? What also annoys me is prime time tv is full of reality, x factor, celebrity dancing, hobby horses bo bo's. The tv companies must be laughing at the public. We pay for our licences and then are expected to fund a programme voting for some has been or wannabe in a so called dragged out competition.

I'm not sure how many are still in the competition but guessing there's a good five weeks left.
I watched X-Factor last year as my husband's friend was on it, so I thought I'd give it a go again. I'm afraid I found them all pretty poor so gave up on the show.
Saturday night tv is generally awful, whichever channel - a nice, leisurely dinner followed by a dvd or a good book gets my vote every time.

A person by mu own heart!
I'm ashamed to say, I work for the channel that broadcasts it (non TV job). I got sick of it after the first series (several YEARS ago).
I wish they'd put something decent on, as do most of the people who work in TV.

Its obvious...just don't watch. I don't and I am in blissful ignorance of anyone who is on it or anything the 'judges' have said or done and frankly, my life is more complete. Just come back from a massive bike ride in the Devon countryside. Feel all warm and smug. Bollox to TV.

At first this use to be one of my favourite programme and I used to watch it all the time. Now all I have watched it the auditions because that is the best bit. Even they know that, that's why they strung it out for so long. I can't believe it this is the first reality programme I have not watched. PS bring on big brother.

Well I guess if you don't like it then don't watch it. For some people it appeals for others it doesn't. No doubt there are things that you watch on TV that younger audiences hate. I guess they too have the option of turning over, and no I don't watch it. Happy viewing.

Even one programme of this over hyped programme is far too much. It is time it was cancelled altogether!
