Hey well first of all the timing belt replacement varies from car to car but you can look at a price range of 350.00 to 500.00 and i know july_4 meant well but DO NOT provide the belt to the shop the reason is if by chance you get a defective belt and it breaks, jumps time, etc, there will be no waranty coverage on it because they will only guarantee labor Meaning putting it on, if any problem presents itself they will blame it on your belt, True they will mark up the price of the belt 15% but well worth getting a waranty, you also need to get it replaced but it will not damage your motor because you have a non interference engine, but will be a big hassle due to towing, hope this helps

You should call the repair shop and have them give you an estimate. The belt itself I know is cheap, I had one replaced, but luckily had a friend do it for me, so I didn't have to pay for labor. Definitely get it done ASAP, b/c I think your engine could blow or lock-up if not replaced.
Another word of advice.....if you have to go to a repair shop, first buy the belt at an autoparts store and bring it into the shop....it'll save you some money, for sure.

Unfortunately timing belt replacements are expensive. It is not the part so much as it is the labor. You see in order to get to the timing cover they have to remove several components before they can remove the cover to replace the belt. I would say a reputable service center would max out at about $1000.00 Good luck.

The belt isn't that much it's the labour to fix it. What ever it costs its worth the money. between $200.-$400. If the timing belt breaks while driving , you'll be stuck.

It is usually expensive...major engine teardown. It will be hundreds of dollars, mostly labor.
They put these composite belts in to save weight where a metal timing belt would prolong the life to more than 100,000 miles....I think it sucks.
I saw a tear down of a SAAB engine and notice that they still use chain belts...Maybe a good reason to consider them over those that go on the cheap.
