How to know the difference between bad writers block, lacking inspiration or just hainvg no talent?

You can tell if it is writers block if, normally, you seem to wite a lot but then suddenly... you cant come up with any ideas. If you lack inspiration, then perhaps, you have some ideas but cant seem to be motivated to write them down. If you lack talent, then you probably never write very much at all and most people dont like what you have written. Hope this helps.

There is no such thing as writer's block, in my opinion. Sitting down in front of a blank screen or piece of paper and starting to write may cause you to freeze because you really haven't done the preliminary work yet. It's important to have done a lot of ground work before you start. Know what type of thing you are trying to write, brainstorm who you are writing for, what do you hope to accomplish, what stylistic approach are you taking. Then make a bullet list of key elements, facts, gimmicks you want to use. Then sketch out a complete outline or schematic for the piece.

Sitting down to actually write is the last thing you do, and it should go quickly once you've done all the prep work. The majority of your time will be spent editing what you wrote, if you are a professional.

There is no such thing as having no talent either, in my opinion. Take a walk outdoors and think in general terms about how you want your work to be received, and see if any ideas occur to you.

that first answerer has no idea what they are on about, there is a such thing as writers block it is when your brain manages to exceed the attention span (time varies greatly from person to person) lacking inspiration won't be a problem if you write only about things you feel passionate about, And there is no such thing as not having the ability anyone who has a left and right lobe of there brain has talent
