and neighbours said to be sure and let them know when it would be shown he was the main person in the prog ramme i took the time to ring ,or by word of mouth ,only one person did ring back
g was it bad manners on their part or am i expecting to much from people ,he would be known to most of them .

I dont think your asking too much , if he was on tv and people ask you to let them know when the programme was being screened, and you take the trouble to ring etc. I think they should have the courtesy to call back and let you know if they liked the programme/ or whatever their view was . i'm sure it was a very important programme not some chat show where anyone could appear, why wouldn't you want to know what they thought they are you friend's and neighbour's ? . i'M WITH YOU ON THIS ONE

Very bad manners, how rude. I too am surrounded by those kind of "friends". Its probably jealousy on a lot of their parts because nothing that exciting is happening in their lives.

i think you are expecting to much,you could ask them what they thought?or they didn't like the show an they just don't want to hurt your son's feelings or they really aren't that bothered.what show was it?

Get over it - stop living through your kids! lol
People lives aren't going to go on hold because of Your kid being on TV.
Its wrong on your part to think they should make time in their schedual to see it. It's your kid - you may think it's important - I doubt if it's as important for them.
Maybe they thought you we're bragging? I know I would.
