i have a boyfriend now.
i have one thing that makes me wonder.
the thing is i cant get along with his friends well.
i know friendship is very important for anyone.
and i have to be good to his friends and trying to be.
but i cant make friends with any of his friends.
when i had my last boyfriend, i could get along with all his friends very well.
i used to go out with them quite often.
and had so much fun.
am i not good for him if i cant get along with any of my boyfriend?
even today, i cried at what my boyfriend's friend said to me.

Remember, you are the company you keep. Who your boyfriend chooses as his friends says something very important about who he is and what he values. If his friends are rude and abusive to you, that does not bode well for the character of your boyfriend. At the very least, you should talk to your boyfriend about what they have said to you and give him a chance to explain and make his friends change their behavior to you. Good luck.

You don't necessarily need to get along with all his friends, as the person you are going out is him, not him and his friends. My boyfriend doesn't wanna even see my friends, as he is a shy and paranoid bugger. But we are OK with it. I personally would rather not see some of his cloud either, since we are so different that I get so bored around them. Besides they keep speaking in a language that I don't speak.
But anyway, whatever the reason is, that kind of things can happen. As long as you guys are fine with it, then you don't need to force your self into liking them. Who knows, with time you might get used to them, and wouldn't mind hunging around someday. But at the moment, just let it be.
P.S. I just found your boyfriend's message above mine. He's a good guy. It seems like he's OK with you not liking this friend of his, so don't worry about a thing. Just give him 10 points. Good luck to you guys.

I think this is question for your boyfriend. If his friends are saying mean things to you than he needs to make the decision to stand up to them. If he cares about you he will not want to see you hurt and will do this for you. If he won't tell his friends to treat you with respect than he is not good enough for you.
P.S. You English is better than half the people's who write in.

Was your BF there when his friend said that to you? if he was and your BF didn't stop it or say something ,, then dump him he is unable to distance himself from his friends,,, to take care of your needs,,, sounds like he's young,,,immature,,,, Girl look some more there are allot of nice guys out there,,,, somewhere there has to be right,, :)

Is it his friends or is it you? Because if it is them you need to tell your boyfriend tha he needs to talk to them before you leave. And if it you you need to be nicer or fix the problem.

Hi there, i have just seen this hiroko is my girlfriend i love her so much. my friend ken does call her names and i am so upset at the moment over it. i know he is doing it as a joke and not to up set my hiroko. but i know its time to stop a joke is a joke till it makes someone upset. i love hiroko to much to loose her, i guess she does not see this alot as i talk about other girls. i guess i am a bad boyfriend. but i dont like the other girls in that way ilove hiroko, i know she is shy around all my friends. and i guess the british way of going out is differnt from japan. my hiroko does not drink, but i am trying my hardest to help her fit in in the uk until i can go to japan with her. i love her more than anyone i have been out with before, no one has giving anything up for me. and she gave up her job to come to the uk with me. i guess we both have our problems i am a student at soas in england and its my last year every day i feel like giving up and going back with her to japan but then i feel i out have until apr/may time and i will be finished. i really hope she can wait till then and we will be together just me and her. yes i like my friends but they do not compare to hiroko. please dont judge me as a bad person. i am not and i love you hiroko so much. i wish i could make you happy. i really dont know what to do. please talk to me. love you tedo chan
