I love the WWE, but I don't understand why they write scripts, that have to do with race, I just want to watch wrestling and enjoy it. For example, last Monday at RAW, race came up with Shelton Benjamin and Carlito. A couple of weeks ago, John Cena told Booker T that he has lost his status as a black man. On a pay-per-view one time, Vince said to John Cena, what's up my *****. Jerry Lawler, used to say things concerning race, I have a feeling that Furooq is there, to try and bring back the Nation of Domination, have you noticed how he pops up, once in a while? Last but not least, Cryme Tyme, why have their characters acting like that? These are examples, as to what i'm talking about. All I want to do is watch wrestling, leave the race nonsense out of it because it doesn't need to go there.

I've almost stopped watching WWE altogether because they're more focused on storylines (which are garbage at least 50 something percent of the time) and not on actual technique. Even if the storylines are neccessary, why these bogus ones? Maybe they think they lack big enough competition to be concerned with actually entertaining the audience, but if they don't shape up soon, many more people might go off to TNA.

so as which you have backstories at the back of fits, feuds and rivalries. Even expert Wrestling Promotions that quite emphasize the wrestling fits alongside with Ring of Honor Wrestling, Chikara Wrestling, professional Wrestling NOAH, appreciate professional Wrestling, New Japan professional Wrestling, Evolve Wrestling, New Jersey All professional Wrestling, All Japan professional Wrestling, Dragon Gate professional Wrestling and Dragon Gate u . s . a . Wrestling have storylines. of course WWE is scripted. WWE grew to become into scripted whilst it grew to become into the international huge Wrestling Federation (WWWF) 5 an prolonged time in the past. Why could it not nonetheless be scripted?

I'm white and I think Cryme Tyme is the most racist angle I've ever seen. But what surprises me the most is that so far, the crowd seems to love them. McMahon loves push the envelope on these things, remember the Iron Sheik, Sgt. Slaughter turning against America, Davari and the guy the Undertaker destroyed, the Nation of Domination, the Mexican wrestlers coming in on lawnmowers...the list goes on and on.

I think you're all missing the point here... All the WWE story lines are about creating drama and controversy...that's it... I think they've gotten too trashy with showing naked Diva's running around, but it sells tickets... Playing the race card is nothing new in wrestling by the way... it goes way way back... Look at the 80's the Iron sheik appeared at the same time we were having trouble with IRAN... and he waved his Iranian flag and tried to sing his national anthem and wore those genie shoes... or look at Kamala "the Ugandan Giant" who is an uncontrollable beast... on the flip side of that would be the ignorant white hillbilly like the Moon Dogs or Hillbilly Jim... Playing race angles is nothing new it's just supposed to get people fired up... and they're doing their job... because here we are on Friday talking about RAW.

Storylines are done to generate ratings and interest in their
promotion. The WWE thinks that these storylines will bring in the fans. Time will tell. If more people tune in, or show up at the houseshows, they will continue with these storylines. If the attendance drops off, I think they will change their storylines. The
bottom line is making as much money as possible. In that respect, their motives aren't much different from any profit-oriented corporation.

I agree with you 100 percent. Only thing I can think of is that the creative team think that that's what the audience wants to watch. That or they're just stupid.

I don`t think race is what they are trying to get across,But it dose seem to be what people are picking up on. I think it is aimed at ratings more than anything else.
