all of you that are implying he would tollerate libs or hate rep you are assuming one thing, that these parties are the same today as they were then. The end of his tour was when things started to change. He wouldnt be in the military because it is now run by lawyers and politicians not military minds. Remember that is why he was popular when he started because he was a nononsese guy and he just wanted to keep american people free. both sides have become to liberal and politically correct for any great military mind. This is causing the downfall of the country and the military.

It has to be remembered that General Patton served under a Democrat President. He would do his duty to the best of his ability under the circumstances and yes, he might slap a liberal coward or two along the way... lol
PS. Patton knew he had few political skills, which is why he was probably not in Eisenhower’s job. He tried to stay out of domestic politics—it almost always got him in trouble.

He would not agree with them, but he would have more respect for them than for the neo-con chicken hawks who needlessly waste the lives of American troops. He was kind of touchy about those things.
