We keep flushing, but some like you are apparently "floaters" and just don't go down easily.

How is it that gay marriage is flushing society? Have you seen the people that are getting married that aren't gay? Marriage is a sham! 90% of marriage comes from pregnant teenagers who where too stupid to use protection, and immigrants who want to become citizens. Those are sham marriages. The other 10% is people who actually want to be married and half of those fail within a year. So, Is it gay marriage, or is it the idiots that don't know any better?

society is but it has nothing to do with gay people I think bigger issue is the fact that over 50% of marriage between and man and women fail. And what about all the teenage pregnancies and the open marriages and swingers. I would say those are the people that are really messing it up.

Hmm.. It seems to me that encouraging stable relationships & long-lasting commitments have a way of securing society. Gay couples who live their lives publicly without benefit of marriage throws the entire institution of marriage into disarray: If Gay people who love each other but can't get married live out their lives in happiness, why do straight people who love each other need to get married?

The separation of gay people from straight people has broken down (primarily in the cities, but it's spreading), and most people know gay couples who are happy, committed, and hope some day to marry.

I think consenting adults pushing for the right to legally marry the person they love, and want to spend the rest of their life with, is certainly less offensive then bigoted, rude, close minded, who assume they have a right to tell others how to live.

PS. as a helpful hint if your so offended by LGBT people why hang in this section of questions, instead of spreading negativity through hate, why not find a section that caters to your own hobbies, likes or desires. Seems it would be more positive for your own life's outlook.

Oh, yeah... it's not the mothers who throw their babies in the trash, or the people who rape women because they can, or the drivers who would rather get home than stop at an accident to see if anyone needs help, or the murderers killing people they've never met... no no, you're right, it's us... we're sending this entire population right down the porcelain peehole. we should be ashamed of ourselves, huh?

A society is based on the nuclear family!!! When the nulear family breaks down or is bastardised by perverts, society will follow in suit. Diversity is a social experiment gone terribly awry!

No its more likely to be intolerant people like you that's causing the problem. Try to relax more, develop more interests, enjoy your short time on the planet, dont worry about what others get up to.
