At this juncture, how could you even guess at what Rush respects?

He's a personality. He can say whatever he wants, just like you can.

Reputedly the forces of the west have secured peace and stability in the far or near east. Why they thought that this was the right time to do it is a different matter all together. The fact that there is no lasting peace in the east is not important apparently. The real reason is the Bilderberg group of which many western leaders including bush, blair and clinton are members. This groups quest for a new world order, One world government and global autonomy needed to balance the power between the middle eastern oil production and that of the mexican or lesser oil producing countries. Oil is the biggest commodity this planet has and any instability between competing producers would have financially shifted the seat of world power. The present state of affairs with the oil leak in bp`s field and the winding up of the armed occupation of the middle and near east is only the tip of the iceberg. BP are ploughing millions into their south american operation. The announcement of possible further exploration in the north sea is further evidence of the power oil holds.

What I don't respect is the media or the Democrats (same thing, really) pushing these dissenting veterans as the voice of the military, when the truth is that they are a minority in the military ranks and a shrinking minority at that.

Yet, if you looked at the media coverage of military voices, at least 75% are the dissenters, when they actually comprise a small percentage of the military voices.

Just like the focus on Cindy Sheehan, and the ignoring of the vast majority of people who lost military loved ones in Iraq.

Just like the focus on the handful of anti-Bush widows who lost loved ones on 9/11 and the ignoring of the majority who supported his actions.

Just like the focus on the handful of veteran Kerry supporters, and ignoring the signed testimony of dozens of men who served beside him who attested to the fraudulence of his 'hero' status.

This focusing on minority opinion, and ignoring any other opinion is what rational people recognize as 'Bias'. It gives a false and distorted view of reality. It is why the media has been given the biased label.

Sure, a tangential rant, but facts matter.
