I think it is from that degrassi show!!! Its a good show and all, but people think they are acting and dont really get pregnant because its a show! So then these teens go and try what they see and dont use condoms (on the show they never use condoms or BC!) and these girls get pregnant and ruin their lives!

The real reason is that many girls are so hungry for love and acceptance that they believe the guys who tell them, "I love you."
Lesson #1, ladies: if a guy is, ummm...shall we say aroused, he's incapable of telling the truth. He will say or do anything to get what he wants. Your best bet is to put cotton in your ears so you're not tempted to believe him.
Guys: put that thing away before you hurt somebody with it.

Yeah like they are learning it from Degrease. Are you kidding me? There are a ton of shows on the air that show teens in a sexual situation. Most people realize that they are just shows and not real.
I think that the real problems is that the teens parents don't take time for their children anymore. They don't talk to their kids, or spend any kind of quality time together. So the teens then turn around and get the attention they are looking for from others.
Studies have shown that the more involved parents are with the children, the better equipped the children are to make good life choices.
I think the that parents would rather blame TV then themselves.

Sure Ive never really liked that show. Even when I was young they had it on with pregnant teens, etc...

thats not a solution...thats a THEORY on why U think it happens...which isnt always why teens get pregnant. my gf is 16, pregnant, n never in her life watched that stupid*** show.

wtf??? degrassi is a GREAT show!!!!!!!!!! hello! where have u been in a cave? degrassi does do hat to prove a point and show u the consequences...they get pregnant because they want to.a show has nothing to do with it..those shows are meant to show teens a lesson or a message stick to kiddie things like blues clues hon....btw:not everyone watches degrassi

I really think that girls get pregnant so young because they are ignored by their parents and they seek attention in any way that they can so they get pregnant.

teens are young dumb and the boys are fulla ***....its just hormones raging and the need for love and wanting.....its not a show, teens just need and want to have sum1 to love them, so wen a guy says to a girl i love you, he mite be trying to get sum, but he mite actually love her, teens just gotta be smart enough to tell the difference. i watch that show and i have no inclinaton to have sex ....so ya
