You should always do the research before you buy the fish. But here is a good site about them, http://badmanstropicalfish.com/profiles/profile9.html

They are carnivorous fish and may be hard to take care of. I have an eighty gallon saltwater tank. I thought this was funny: You start off with two or three tiny fish. when you get bored with the little fish then you buy an angel fish or lion fish. You get lots of entertainment instead of just little bitty things that bore the hell out of you. You go to bed and when you wake up all that's left is the big fish!!!!!!!!!!

I would make sure that you don't get any other little fish except for guppies for them to eat or you won't see them for more than an hour!!!

And don't put two males together, they will just rip the hell out of each other.

Well, good luck, and I hope they get along!!!!!

I don't have experience with angel fish - I would recommend finding an online message board community about angel fish that could help answer your questions. Good luck!

That tank is slightly too small. together as the top of the tank is appropriate, the width is a splash too small. you may desire to perhaps wreck out with one angel, yet i definatly does no longer upload better than that. Tall tanks are slightly greater stable to inventory on the grounds that they do no longer grant a lot of swimming room. you may desire to objective a school of corycats for the backside, and a few smaller tetras and a few otocinclus algae eaters. in case you get an angelfish regardless of the undeniable fact that, don't get neon tetras, as angels devour those as snacks ;)
