I disagree, did you not understand alot of them or are you an unemotional person? I am not insulting you but, alot of these movies have an emotional intensity about them. I am guessing you are a horror movie type of person or maybe mystery? Sorry you didn't like theses movies because many of them were done with great production and a diverse direction.

Lord of the Rings, Pirates, X3, Mr & Mrs Smith, Phantom Menace, and Apocalypse now were all good. Some others on your list were bearable. Hitchhikers, Back to the Future 2, and Blair Witch were crap.

I agree overall. These are the ones that I think were pretty good:
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy - EXCELLENT
Man on Fire - Pretty good
Mr. & Mrs. Smith - Everyone likes looking at beautiful people, so OK.
X-Men 3: The Last Stand - The best of the 3, and I'm a fan of the cartoons, so good!

What we like is often a matter a taste. One of the movies on your list is one of my all time favorites, that being The Birds. By today's computer generated standards the special effects may seem lame but it is a remarkable and complex film. Its not just a horror movie but also an examination of relationships between Mitch, the male lead and all of the women in his life. I also think The Blair Witch Project was a pretty good movie.

King Kong was AWESOME!
I also enjoy Gangs of New York.
I agree with you on Hitchhiker,School of Rock, & Xmen 3.
Xmen 2 was the better of the 3.
