Dell have the best value for money, have special offers and you can pay it off.
InspironTM 1501 looks good.
Don´t buy a second hand one, better pay a few quid more and get one with garaunty and legal OS.

Hi,
You can buy a Dell Inspiron 1300. Go to the dell website and select it. It is around £349.00 but the best thing is u can modify it and select what the things you want the laptop to have. There are also other laptops on dell.
Even more you can go to ebay and buy it there, it will be a little cheaper. I have had it for a year and have no problems. i got it from dell for my modified 1300 for £450.00.

I really recommend the Compaq Intel Core Duo laptop. It's £550 and is the biz!!

I agree with spiko, as I've just bought an Acer, Aspire series and it's wonderful and only paid £399.

Tosiba from pc world at £399.00 or go to Tesco - they have good ones all under £500.00
Spiko - mines an Acer - husband brought it for my anniversary pressie. Its brilliant and that came from Tesco and cost £400.00 xx
