it is difficult to exist without it.
It sounds like one of those overanalyzed philosophical bs topics. It is as if there was a choice as to whether the universe should exist or not. It is not a debate, just as death is not a debate. It is...just is.
One could argue that God is he source of the universe or perhaps that it preceeded Him. We don;t know and frankly, it isnt that important to spend such an effort over...just as the discussion of death is kinda pointless...it just is.
Why not spend the effort discussing topics that make a diffeence? Stem cell research, nuclear power for a cleaner environment, the morality of killing terrorists (OK, I threw in an easy one)

As a medium for matter and gravitational forces. Without the universe, solar systems would not exist. Check out this amazing link, it points to massive solar energy concentrations that have never before been seen: http://www.esa.int/esaSC/SEM8MZNFGLE_index_0.html

We're just a massive soap opera that some "Gods" are watching. Maybe not even a soap opera - a comedy.
Remember this next time you play Sim City - we're Sim Universe for someone else.

I wish more people would ask this, rather than looking at earth and man made things- we might find some answers then. I mean black holes, the milky way, galaxies, planets, stars and moons- must be more to it then earth and religion so called. I wish i knew- perhaps by wanting to know we might find out!
