It's about time. We need something better than this wall though maybe some lions from Africa to catch the illegals that might make it across somehow.

Its a great idea.
Not only Mexicans come across that border. We get South Americans, Central Americans, and other countries all over the world.
The wall will prevent the runners coming in. They will have to go through a check point like everyone else. The time has come when this is the only thing that will work.
The border patrol is over-worked, over-extended and plain out of money. It is a 24/7 job where the workers have little satisfaction. Those they take back show up over and over again jumping the border.
What does Mexico do about illegals coming into their country? They shoot them if they find them. But there country is flooded too with illegals because they are all trying to get to the US. So really we are helping them too.

I relate it to the building and funding of the levies on New Orleans, we've known a long time there will be a big flood one day, and we continue to put band aids across the leak to plug the holes. A wall will not work, will simply be routed around. We need good, strong and extensive law enforcement to attack this problem, not unfunded walls.

I like it a lot better than the Mexican President Fox Does, after all he wants the people to come to the States, they sent back 20 billion dollars last year, what do you think? Did that help the Mexican Economy?

I say let all the Mexicans in. Who is White America to say who can and can't enter this country? All of White America is here illegally anyway. Everyone knows that. No one invited them from Europe. If anything the Mexicans have more of a right to be here. They're harder working anyway.

People have to follow rules and laws to become a citizen in our country. Just because our land is connected and it's east to access our country does not mean we should just let it slide about people sneaking in. It's a last resort but the wall is good.
P.S. I believe all people should be able to answer your questions. Or should I say that all U.S. Citizens should be able to answer.

I like it. If they want to be Americans so bad, then they should go through the process. When they cross over illegally, they aren't immigrants, they are invaders. I agree completely with the wall.
However, isn't this being a little racist, only wanting white Americans to respond?

It won't solve the problem and lets face it...we can't even build a wall to keep the caribean sea out of New Orleans...and we're gonna build a 1000 mile fence? What a joke.

A good idea but not a permanent solution.
The real solution involves persuading Mexico to fix its comatose economy.
The second would be for us to actually enforce our immigration laws.
