Refinance their debts - whether it be by refinancing their home or consolidating loans in order to be able to spend even more money on gifts & presents and put themselves in further financial debt. I work in a law firm and the amount of people re-mortgaging their homes increases about one to two months before Xmas.

Well I think that a good part of the people are making a shopping list or what there kid's want for x-mas and what they can afford
