Actually, my boss is having some troubles these days. He is short-tempered all the time. In fact, he blames me all the time, even very small things. I love my job, but I can quit anytime. I just respect him and I understand his situation. But sometimes, I almost loose my patience (because of unfair judgement). Please help.

If you can quit and get another job easily with the same money or better, then i'd speak to your boss explain you understand his situation but your not gonna be his punch bag. Tell him you are considering your options, he might control his temper more, and if he doesn't i wouldn't want to work with someone like that anyway, go and get another job.

It sounds exactly like a situation I tried to teach my children as they were entering the work force. Don't bring your HOME life to work, and vise Versa - it is obvious that you are too close to your Boss, and his personal problems. Stop Now! - in a quiet moment, talk to your Boss, if he still continues, see a Lawyer, you have a case for "verbal harassment" on the job, and more I expect. If your Boss has belittled you in the presence of customers, other staff members. Forget you like him, you can't put that in the bank. Look after yourself in the workplace, He could make it difficult for you if you quit without talking to him. You will want a good reference. Take it from me, you loose RESPECT in the workplace, when you allow this to continue. Respect from the customers, the other staff, and it can be hard on your own Self-esteem. Talk to him to day and from that you can make a wise decision.

You have the right to feel the way that you do, problems or not, he needs to treat you in a professional manner and i'm sure he expects the same from you, there is no one way. I would suggest that you talk to him and tell him, how he makes you feel. You said yourself that you love your job, but could quit at any time, so what have you got to lose? You can either take his treatment or do something about it, the choice is up to you, make the right one, good luck.

Working with people like this can ruin your health. They never seem to change. Who needs the stress? Life is so short. Find a different job and let him kick somebody else around.
