Hello Italy,
We just learned what happens when a person wants public support to live in his own world with no windows. It is not uncommon but many thought there was something more. The enchanted are left without explanation after years of blind obedience. I certainly hope a lesson learned is a lesson gained.
Have a pleasant tomorrow.

Our country is much better off for the recent turn of events AND it is a signal to the world that the free election process is still alive and well in the U S A......
I am a democrat myself--so -- I have never supported Bush's political platforms or agenda---even though as an American I stand firmly with my country's resolve to protect and defend ourselves and any weak and struggling nation who needs and wants democracy and freedom !!!
I must say here though-- the democrats newly elected will have a serious job ahead of them over the next while-- the Republicans have been in TOTAL control for the last six years and have made a hell of a mess out of a lot of things that will have to be dealt with-- and it won't be easy or overnight in coming--- but we have finally turned the corner in all this dictatorial approach to world policies and have at least put a collar around some of the unbriddled passions of the Republican machine !!!!!

Buon giorno.
1. Prior to the elections, the media generated several artificial scandals in order to embarass the President and the Republican Party. This same media refuses to report any good news from Iraq; only bad news.
I believe the America media had a role in the elections, which is very unfortunate.
2. However, Presidents in their second term, like Bush, usually lose many seats in Congress in the mid-term elections, so what happened on Tuesday was normal.
3. I don't believe most Americans or Europeans understand how big of a threat terrorism/al Qaeda is.

Buona sera! I am not a big fan of the American President George Bush. I am very pleased with the result of this weeks elections! Bush will not be impeached as that is not the answer but he will be held accountable and I feel the next two years will be very productive for him and the American people. Nancy Pelosi will lead the charge!
Where in Italia are you located at? I was born here in the USA but I am Calabrese. Grazie. Derci.

Any thinking person I know thinks Bush is a joke and an embarrassment. Notice when he switches to his "I'm so sincere" look. We like the elections.

Once again, proud to be an american! Only in America can the power of voting change the course of the entire world, and restrain the most powerful political party since the nazi party.

Americans have spoken.....
we don't agree with Bush's policy in Iraq, torture prisons in Cuba and around the world, the way he uses fear and deceit to justify his actions, and how he has alienated the U.S. around the world.....
we used to be the best example of freedom and democracy in the world..... this election is a start to get us back there!!!!!!
